        Social Support Groups

  • Enable isolated individuals experiencing poor mental health to build supportive friendships.
  • Meet weekly in the community settings of pubs and cafes.
  • Are established by churches and mental health service providers working collaboratively.

Are built on the fact that:

  • The experience of poor mental health can result in isolation.
  • Friendship is a fundamental part of life.
