An evaluation report to understand how the Friendship Group Model has evolved, explore the extent to which existing group members have benefited and identify keys to establishing successful groups.
Manual for Training Volunteer Hosts
The manual includes guidelines on how to run the five one day workshops, booklet material for workshop participants ( which can be photocopied and used only by those who have delivered the training programme with ACCEPT ) and evaluation forms for workshop participants.
Champion's Manual for Establishing Friendship Groups
Included within the manual are guidelines regarding the mapping of potential partner organisations, roles involved and initiating collaborative working. Other documents such as volunteer group development worker application forms, supervision contracts and confidentiality agreements are all aimed at enabling time to be saved within the process as much as possible. Mental Health Professional's Manual for Establishing Friendship Groups
As well as guidelines for the roles and processes involved, documentation includes referral forms, assessment sheets, an eight week foundation period booklet, evaluation form for all involved and friendship group review cards.
Quality Assurance ( Visits to carry out focus groups & interviews )
Quality assurance can take place through focus groups and interviews, with a semi-structured format, to hear how group members and partners involved feel that the groups are developing and how partnership arrangements are working.
